NYC Housing Court Filings
This dataset contains all landloard and tenant cases related to properties located in New York City. Only certain variables are included in the files: 1) randomly generated case identifier (indexnumberid); 2) case filing date (filedate); 3) property type (propertytype): residential or commercial; 4) case type (classification): non-payment, harassment etc.; 5) zipcode of the property (zip).
Data source is housing court filings data from the New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA). Raw data is processed by the Housing Data Coalition (HDC).
